Hardin County Schools is pleased to offer an online registration process that allows parents and guardians to register their students from any internet-connected device.

Beginning May 1, parents or guardians of students entering Kindergarten through 12th grade can register for the 2026–2027 school year. The open enrollment window runs through June 30.

If you wish to request enrollment in a school other than the one your student is zoned for, we strongly encourage you to complete registration during the open enrollment period. Doing so gives your student priority consideration for admission to the requested school.

It is essential that all parents or guardians—whether registering a new or returning student—complete the registration process. This ensures schools have the most up-to-date information, including:

• Address and phone numbers

• Emergency contacts

• Authorized individuals for student pickup

• Medical and health details

• Other important student information

To begin registration, visit the Hardin County Schools website at hardincoschools.com. Click on the “Registration” link at the top of the page and follow the instructions.

Printed registration instructions are also available at any school or at the Hardin County Board of Education. When requesting printed materials, please ask for the “Blue” registration sheet.
