Seniors, Prom tickets are on sale for seniors only. The cost is $20 each. We will be set up in the main lobby during the breaks.


The Class of 2028 is selling class t-shirts during the lunch block, all money is due to Mrs. McAfee in E-11 by this Friday, April 17th


Students who are 16 years of age or older that would like to donate blood tomorrow Thursday, April 16, please come by the Vocational office and see Mrs. Tanya. There are very few slots remaining. I would like to thank each of you for Volunteering to give the gift of life. One unit of blood can save up to three lives.


Youth Leadership Applications for the 26-27 school year are now available online. If you are unable to access the online form, you may see Mrs. Bellis for a paper copy. Also, if you applied last year and did not get in, you must reapply. The deadline is May 8th.


Attention Juniors!! The class of 2027 Senior t-shirts are now on sale! These shirts will be worn during the first week of senior year and throughout the school year, so don’t miss out! Order forms are available in Mrs. Pickett’s, Mrs. Townley’s, Mrs. Frank’s, and Mrs. Plunk’s classrooms. Make sure to get your order in and show your senior pride! Forms due April 24.


2026-27 HCHS Boys & Girls Golf Tryouts will be Monday & Tuesday, April 27th & 28th at Pickwick Landing State Park Golf Course from 3:30 to 5:30 pm for students in grades 9 thru 11. All students trying out must have reliable transportation to and from the golf course and a set of golf clubs.


Youth leadership needs your empty 20oz bottles with lids! Please drop them off in the bins located by the E and R hall vending machines.


Representatives from Jackson State Community College will be in the cafeteria today at 5:30 PM for an informational parent meeting. This meeting is for upcoming juniors and seniors interested in taking dual enrollment classes next year.


Mrs. Bellis has 2 new sports/outdoors-related jobs available. Must be 16, have reliable transportation, and be able to Co-op next year. Preference will be given to students with related experience and demonstrate strong dependability. See Mrs. Bellis for details!

Hardin County Schools will observe Spring Break from March 27 through April 3. There will be no school during this time. Classes will resume on April 6.

Summer School
On Monday, March 9th, the Hardin County School Board appointed Stephen Johnson as the new Director of Schools for the Hardin County School system. Johnson will lead the district in overseeing educational programs, operations, and strategic initiatives across all schools in the system. The board expressed confidence in Johnson's qualifications and vision for supporting student success and community engagement throughout the district.
