Courtesy, Inc. of Hardin County High School has converted a former science classroom into a new learning environment, complete with a kitchen with a new stove and oven!

This new learning environment has made it much easier for students to learn basic cooking skills. The students consistently research new recipes they want to try cooking. They are grateful to each organization and individual who has supported their learning efforts either through food or monetary donations. It has kept them cooking!

They have begun a new program entitled “Courtesy, Inc. Guest Chef”. On Thursday, October 22nd, HCHS Principal Wes Wilkerson was their first Guest Chef. He led the students in preparing “Cream Cheese Spaghetti.” The students confirmed its deliciousness by leaving behind only an empty pan!

There will be a lunch and learn on Oct 1st during 3rd period for any student interested in learning more about the packaging corporation of America’s full-ride engineering scholarship. You must see Mrs. Bellis or Mrs. Tanya in the vocational building to sign up to attend. Any freshman interested in joining VOLS, please stop by our R3 or T9 to pick up an application. All application and club dues are due next Thursday Oct 1 by 3 PM FBLA will meet today after school in Mrs. Hill's room T11. Any student 16 years of age or older that needs the opportunity to donate blood toward their Red Cord, please come to Mrs. Tanya's office and pick up a list of area locations. FCA will meet Friday morning at 7:15 in the library.  Mrs. Butler's tutoring for today has been canceled.
